For some reason the US is not accepting help from 12 countries and the United Nations to help clean up the oil spill in the Gulf. The Cable reports that the state department refused to tell reporters about this until later. I wonder if the State Department could inlightus as to why they decided not to receive support. Do we think were big enough to take care of the mess, or do we want the full damage of the incident to make people more angry at BP and big oil?
